Starting taking this because i was working in an area with contaminents (formalahyde) and my doc said that you should take Milk Thistle because it basically lets your liver battle off all the toxins and protects it from damage. I was concerned that this would be a fluff book because it is a microbook. I had no idea how much information was packed into it. I bought this because I am an avid believer in detoxing. I had never had kidney stones in my life, but at 35, my doctor said I was probably not getting enough calcium and recommended I take 1,000 mg of calcium a day.
